Reflections, Celebrations & Goodbyes

End-of-Term Message

Now we have come to the end of another fantastic term, I would like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to all of our students. Their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm have made this term truly special.

A sincere thank you also goes to all of our parents, whose support has helped make events such as Camp and our Movie on the Lawn so memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved.

We will be sharing an album of photo highlights from the term shortly.

School will reopen on Monday 4th May, and we will send out further information regarding next term on Sunday 3rd May.

Highlights from Our Final Week

  • Movie on the Lawn was a wonderfully successful event, with students showcasing the incredible work they have produced throughout the term. All the films were created and edited by the students. We are immensely proud of everything they achieved. We have shared a selection of video highlights on our YouTube channel and if you would like a specific video, please feel free to request it. • Graduation Ceremony - It was an emotional afternoon, with many tears from both students and teachers, as we said goodbye to Alesso, Calvin, Grace, Milin, Paploy, Prin, Sern, and Winner.

Each of these students has been a fantastic role model within the school community. They have shown leadership, kindness, and a strong sense of responsibility, leaving a lasting impact on both their peers and teachers. They will be greatly missed, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved during their time at Halio. We wish them every success in their next chapter.

  • End-of-Term Trip - Our trips to Black Mountain and Vana Nava Water Parks were a great success, providing a fun and memorable way to end the term. The students had a fantastic time, and it was a perfect way to celebrate all their hard work.

  • The Hummingbirds Picnic - enjoyed a picnic and tea party, where they brought in food from their own cultures. This was a lovely opportunity to encourage sharing and to celebrate and take pride in their heritage.

  • Academic Achievements - Our Grade 6 students achieved very strong results in both their Ministry of Education (MOE) examinations. We are extremely proud of their performance.

Sern produced what was arguably one of the best contest entries we have ever received, a wonderful adventure story imagining a younger student’s journey to replace a lost bookmark. It was beautifully written, full of humour, wit, sophisticated literary devices, and an expansive vocabulary. He was awarded a bookmark.

  • Rowin – dinosaur card

  • Ben – bag

  • Calvin – Blackpink card
