Halio School Camp Information
We are excited for our annual school camp! Here's everything you need to help your child prepare.
š Meeting Point & Travel
We will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Shell Petrol StationĀ before traveling together to Pa La-U WaterfallĀ for our day trip.Ā Please note: there is no convenience storeĀ at the petrol station, so ensure you bring everything you need before arriving. You can find the exact location for our meeting and for the campsite posted in the community chat group.
After our waterfall day trip, we will travel to our camp destination and set up camp.
Students who are not staying overnight are still very welcome to join the Pa La-U day trip. Minivans will return to school later in the afternoon.
Parents are also welcome to join us at Pa La-U Waterfall. Please let us know in advance if you plan to attend.
š§ Camp Focus & Activities
This yearās camp focuses on rescue and outdoor skills, including:
Basic first aid
Communication and radio use
Fun river-crossing challenges
Map and compass skills
Activities will be led by:Ā Mr Chad, Mr Chris, Pii Dream, Ms Sherab, Mr Tommy and Mr Vincent.
š¦ Pa La-U Waterfall Day Trip
At Pa La-U, students will:
Go on a short hike š„¾
Explore nature and climb rocks
Swim and play safely šāāļø
Students must wear or bring:
Sneakers/walking shoes that can get wet
Swimsuit
Towel
Change of clothes
Water bottle
ā¹ļø Parent Information
Parents joining the waterfall trip must:
Pay their own park admission
Bring their own packed lunch
Park fees:
Foreign adults: 300 THB
Thai adults: 100 THB
Car parking: 40 THB
Parents going directly to the campsite should wait for students to arrive before pitching tents, so children can help set them up as part of the camping experience.

Warm layers for cool mornings and evenings
Good walking/running shoes (that can get wet)

Optional:Ā Life jacket for kayaking (if available)
š« What NOT to Bring
Our aim is to keep children healthy and connected to nature.
Please do not bring:
Packaged junk food (chips, cookies, etc.) unless sharing with all campers
Sugary drinks (Coke, Sprite, Fanta, etc.)
Battery-operated toys or gadgets
Screens or devices
Teachers will keep phones safe and charged for emergency use only
